Minecraft | Choose a Jar File For Your Server
To simplify the installation process, we offer a convenient built-in one-click jar installer.

- Stop your server.
- Access the Mod Manager tab.

- Select your desired type of jar. You can also search for the version and initiate the installation process.
The top Minecraft jar files will always pull the latest version, as per https://mcjarfiles.com.

- Be patient while the jar is being downloaded and wait for the completion message. Afterwards, if you go back into the category, you will see a green installed indicator.

- Start your server.
- Congratulations! You have successfully completed all the necessary steps.
Installing Previous Versions of Minecraft
You can repeat the same process as above, but you can go into different categories for the specific version you want.
Unfortunately, we don't keep all versions of Minecraft for one-click installation, so you will need to use the manual method if you can't find your jar.
You can do this with two simple methods, which are listed below.

Method 1

Stop your server.

Go to a website that supplies jar files, for example, https://mcjarfiles.com.

Download your jar file. In our case, we will download Paper
1.19.4. -
You can upload the jar file via the file manager, or you can upload it via SFTP. You must upload it to the root directory of your server.

Find the jar file named
minecraft_server.jarand delete it. -
Rename your uploaded jar file, which will be called something like
paper-1.19.4-550.jar, tominecraft_server.jar. -
Congratulations! You have successfully completed all the necessary steps.

You can now start your Minecraft server.
Method 2
- Stop your server.
- Go to a website that supplies jar files, for example, https://mcjarfiles.com.
- Download your jar file. In our case, we will download Paper
1.19.4. - You can upload the jar file via the file manager, or you can upload it via SFTP. You must upload it to the root directory of your server.
- Find the jar file named
minecraft_server.jarand delete it. - Go to the command line manager, click on Custom Command Line, and then click the
+ Newbutton. - Give the command line a description. This can be whatever you want it to be, so we will just call ours
Paper. - In the Jar File drop-down, you should see your
paper-1.19.4-550.jar. Choose that and click Save.

- Once it's saved, you will now need to enable it. This will bind the command line to the server. You can simply click on the
Selectbutton, and this will enable the command line.

- Congratulations! You have successfully completed all the necessary steps.
- You can now start your Minecraft server.
